Choosing a Sosol and Sea piece means buying or gifting a unique piece of jewelry, entirely designed by Belgian stylist and designer, Solange Lecomte.

Each jewelry piece (ring, earrings, necklace, or other) is hand-drawn one by one, with components either hand-shaped and molded for tin pieces, or laser-cut and engraved for brass pieces. A true artisan jeweler’s work that certainly takes time but guarantees unique design and craftsmanship. All while respecting ancient Berber jewelry techniques and offering fair and living wages.
Our Core Materials and Colors
Because the quality of our creations is essential, we carefully and responsibly select each material that goes into them.

Thus, our rainbow-hued jewelry is adorned with precious and semi-precious natural stones, resin-coated papers, glass, crystals, mother-of-pearl, textiles, feathers… Each piece and chain is also gilded with 18 to 24 carat gold and silver-plated by a renowned Tunisian gilder.

A Manufacturing Workshop, a Strong Social Project
Sosol and Sea jewelry is manufactured in Tunisia in an ethical workshop in the heart of Tunis. Brigitte, who has managed the workshop for nearly 30 years, chose to live in the heart of the popular district and fights day after day for the social and salary recognition of her employees.

As the workshop is composed mainly of women, she also fights for their emancipation. She notably works with single mothers (who have extremely precarious statuses in Muslim regions).

These social values are more than a priority for the Sosol and Sea brand. The designer is committed and has, in fact, worked for years in education related to sustainable development and specialized in the fashion industry.
