Sosoland sea is a dream, a journey, a commitment, human stories, inspirations from the sea, the ocean, tropical and ethnic nature.

Sosol and Sea is a Belgian fashion brand created by stylsite Solange Lecomte in 2017. This brand is committed to a Sustainable Development process that highlights all the players involved from A to Z in its existence and in the daydreams of the customers who will wear its creations.

A brief history …

Solange, the brand’s creator, has had an atypical career. Her journey into the world of fashion began in 1996, when she took a course in plastic arts with a styling option at the Institut Saint-Luc in Tournai.

Because the environment and ethics were her main concerns, she decided to study the environment and sustainable development. With her diplomas in hand, she combined her two passions for 12 years, working in the fashion and textile department of a regional environmental initiation center.

A study trip to French Guiana led the designer to find out what she really wanted.

First of all, the ocean is different when you go along the coast and when you go to the Guiana islands.

The desire to fight humanely, because there are still huge and inconceivable social differences over there.

Today, Sosol and Sea is inspired by travels by the sea, the desire to nourish and share the richness of the cultures encountered during travels, and above all the desire to contribute to a fairer world.

And, of course, the sea and ocean play an important role, not only because the designer draws her resources from them, but also because water knows no boundaries.

And so the Sosol and Sea brand was born.

Clothes first, jewelry second.

Given the growing success of her handcrafted semi-precious jewelry, it was finally to this specialty that Solange turned in 2017. Sosol and Sea became a brand of semi-precious jewelry for women.

She decided to devote herself fully to this new activity.

Since 2021 the brand has returned to textiles after many years of research. It has embarked on a range of ecological and sustainable garments that adapt to every woman’s morphology. Lightweight, flowing, comfortable travelwear that can be transformed for every occasion.

This surprising journey perfectly symbolizes Sosol and Sea’s commitment to developing ethical and sustainable creations. All our jewels are handcrafted using high-quality materials that will stand the test of time, and are made in a workshop in Tunis that fights for the social well-being and wages of its employees.

Since 2021, the brand has re-developed a collection of “travel” garments that it has been working on for 10 years.
