What if we dressed differently…
Discover Sosol and Sea’s responsible and durable clothing range.
A ready-to-wear line, yes — but above all a ready-to-keep line.
Towards thoughtful slow fashion…
I spent 12 years working in education around sustainable development and environmental issues.
This experience helped me shape my vision to create clothing that aligns with a sustainable development process.
My goals:
• Create one-size garments that adapt to every woman’s body shape — without looking like one-size clothing.
• Offer pieces that help boutiques reduce costs and excess stock.
• Design garments that last over time, using sustainable, high-quality materials.
• Create items that can be worn for years and styled differently for every occasion simply by changing details (like belts).
• Offer clothing that is both comfortable and ultra-feminine.
Sosol and Sea garments are specially designed to be worn by all women, no matter their body type (curvy, slim, average, pregnant, postpartum, etc.).
This “one-size” clothing line adapts perfectly to the wearer’s figure while enhancing it.
One size, yes — but definitely not “potato sack 😉”. Sosol and Sea pieces cinch at the waist so you’d never guess they’re one-size.
You will wear high-quality, ultra-feminine clothing that fits your silhouette beautifully.
Responsible, durable and eco-friendly garments you can wear for any occasion simply by changing belts.
In just a second, you can switch from beachwear to a city or evening outfit.
Thanks to a cinching system developed by Sosol and Sea, the piece adjusts to every body shape and cinches perfectly at the waist.
Magic: you would never know it’s one-size.
The spring–summer 2021 pieces (dresses, skirts, trousers, T-shirts, tank tops) were made in Belgium and presented through a crowdfunding campaign that was a great success — we warmly thank all contributors, thanks to whom the adventure continues ;-)))
Sosol and Sea aims to create an ethical, responsible and long-lasting product range, using high-quality materials and paying fairly everyone who works for the brand.
This first line, launched via a crowdfunding campaign in March 2021, financed the spring-summer 2022 collection.
The intention:
Trace the origin of every component, retrace the product’s story, work with ecological, high-quality materials, be transparent and ethical — and above all, make you feel beautiful.
The upcoming collections are made from ecological and durable fabrics ethically produced in Portugal.
Buttons, matched to the fabrics, in glass and brass, are made entirely by hand in Italy.
Ribbons, also coordinated with the color palette, are woven the traditional way in Germany.
Sewing and assembly are carried out in a small family-run workshop in Portugal.
The unique prints are designed by the brand in collaboration with Belgian graphic designer Kathy Lecocq.
And of course, the Sosol and Sea ethical semi-precious jewelry collection will match — just to please your eyes ;-)))
The new spring–summer 2022 Sosol and Sea line is finally available and is now sold in eight Belgian boutiques.
The goal is to offer boutiques an alternative to the financial losses and waste caused by unsold sizes — a responsible, economical and ecological solution.
To offer clothing that is 100% ethical and long-lasting.
Ready-to-wear, yes — but above all, ready-to-keep.
